TREE REPLANTING CAMPAIGN 2019

 As part of CSR, the organisation todate, has re-planted trees on 3 acres of land neighbouring to the factory facility. Sixty years ago, Alma area is mainly rice paddy fields, small farmers and full of coconut trees. With the economy progression, more and more agriculture lands have been converted to commercial and residential projects.

 Despite many housing developers have offered to buy the land belonging to the organisation, our CEOs have turned down all offers and instead we replanted trees surrounding the production facilities.

 Trees contribute to the environment over long periods of time by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe.

Corporate Social Responsibility campaign: Household e-waste recycle campaign

$$$ TRASH TO CASH $$$ As an effort to promote corporate social responsibility, the organisation organised a campaign for employees to voluntarily bring household e-waste for recycling. In return, the contributing employee will get a cash rebate depending on the items collected. What is household e-waste? Electrical and electronic appliance which are not in use by the original user and does not bring any value to the user. Eg. PC, TV, radio, refrigerator, washing machine, air-conditioner, printer, mobile phone, DVD/VCD player, mobile phone battery & etc, Why do we need to recycle household e-waste? It gives an adverse impact on human health and the environment.
